Finances are pretty important. It's often the "fuel" that makes things "go". Because we are a donor driven organization, we're focused on ensuring our finances meet all relevant legal requirements and that the way we manage our assets will inspire confidence with our donors. We have high standards and strong values that guide us. In order to meet our goals, we are looking for a Financial Manager / Bookkeeper who can lead the way in designing, monitoring and managing our organizations financial controls and processes. Requirements: Be willing and available to relocate to Costa Rica to serve the ministry in this mission capacity. Work as part of a growing ministry team. Be flexible to assist with any number of mission activities, in addition to accounting responsibilities. Skillset: - Accountant / bookkeeper, or equivalent and extensive real-world experience - Competent in using computer-based accounting software. - Experience in missions, NGO, volunteer, church planting or discipleship work. - Fluent or semi-fluent in Spanish, both written and oral. We have service opportunities as short as 3 months extending up to one year.
